Consultation
The Behavior Corner, LLC provides various assessment services conducted by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, including Functional Behavioral Assessments and Social Skills Assessments. Included are extensive individualized reports and treatment recommendations with each assessment. Additionally, consultation services are provided for schools to aide in enhancing your child's performance.
*Services are provided both virtual and in-person to access families in urban, suburban, and rural areas!

Social Skills Assessments
Social Skills Assessments are useful in helping to understand your child's relationships not only with others but with themselves. During our social skills assessment, parents can learn more about their child's ability to navigate social relationships, understanding of responsible decision-making, as well as their social and self-awareness skills. The social skills assessment comprises Dynamic assessments, formal social skills reports, rating scales, and evaluations. Following the assessments, recommended treatments and social skills targets are developed for intervention.

Functional Behavioral Assessments
Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) is used to determine the function of challenging behaviors so that there can be recommendations for effective treatment to reduce the frequency and intensity of specified behaviors. The assessment includes record reviews, interviews with parents and caregivers, and direct observations of the behavior in a naturally occurring environment. In some cases, a form of Functional Analysis of the challenging behavior will be conducted. Following the assessment, specific treatment recommendations are provided along with a formal Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP).

Private School & District Consultation
We work with your school to ensure that techniques based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) are effectively being implemented within the school setting. The goal is to increase pro-social behaviors and decrease challenging behaviors in the targetted setting. All Private School and District BCBA Consultations are conducted by the Founder of The Behavior Corner, Tawana McNair.
