Hey There!

Shining Social Skills Camp for Young Leaders

Have you heard about our social skills camp for young leaders? It’s a great program that helps young people develop essential leadership and communication skills while building friendships and having fun. I think it’s an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in becoming a better leader and improving their social skills.

Our social skills camp offers students the opportunity to develop ways to make responsible decisions, build self and social awareness, learn how to develop social relationships, and make meaningful connections when communicating.

How to Start?

Preparing for Camp

Tawana McNair, founder and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, will facilitate sessions and conduct behavior and social screening before students join the social camp. This allows for a more individualized approach and goal selection for each student. Students will also participate in a virtual interview, during which a social reinforcer survey will be conducted to determine interests so this can be embedded into camp activities.

Attendance

Requirements

We ask that students commit to attending the entire session so that we can focus on building relationships while working on individualized goals. Ultimately, we want to help build friendships that carry outside of our camp sessions.

We will offer a 2nd session in which students who participated in Session 1 will have first come, first serve!
